21st June is celebrated as World Music Day every year. To commemorate this occasion, we are going to dive into the science behind the world of music and see how it benefits us.

The earliest piece of musical notation is etched on a 4,000 years old Sumerian clay tablet, this tablet includes instructions and tunings for a tune created in honour of the ruler Lipit-Ishtar.
