So exciting week for SciKnowTech kids with our Expert Prof. Joshi talking about “Solar System”…starting with being able to differentiate astronomers with astronauts, children also saw beautiful videos, images and demo alongwith hearing very interesting facts & stories related to the subject. Look at the overwhelmed kids at electrifying “SciDiwali” workshop, where kids made glowing T-shirts, flickering wrist-bands, sparkling photo-frames and series circuits for Diwali. Thrilled kids took all models at home to celebrate the finest festival of Diwali. We started with just a single workshop and then kids kept on pouring in and ended up doing 4 SciDiwali workshops. On this Children’s Day, SciKnowTech hosted Mr. Lalit Sharma from Mumbai to present for the first time in Ahmedabad, a session on “Creating Awareness about Science Tourism”. “Science tourism” is a modern approach that enables any tourist or visitor come home enriched to Appreciate Scientific achievements of the place visited. SciKnowTech Team had great session with GGIS school kids, where a special session was taken to combine fabric and electronics and at the end of the session, kids were thrilled to make take-away models of glowing wristband.

SciKnowTech is very conscious about need of the society today. In order for village kids also to have an exposure to “Experiential Learning”, Dr. Megha Bhatt regularly visits the munciple schools around Ahmedabad to take regular sessions of Science concept. SciKnowTech Team had great session with COIS (Calorex Olive Iinternational School), where 2 back to back sessions were condiucted for different grades to make an emphaise of “Experiential Learning” in education. Thanks to all the teachers, who were so supportive and appreaciated the workshops. Thanks to COIS management to have given SciKnowTech a platform to talk to kids on this unique methodology.

SciKnowTech held its most popular workshop “FunXploring Science” at Belvedere Golf & Country Club (Adani Shantigram) for the first time. It was a full-house as expected. SciKnowTech and Belvedere Club management will surely think of doing one more workshop soon for people who we had to regret registration due to overwhelming response. Expert’s Intervention becomes an important aspect when it comes to “Experiential Learning” as the expert brings in very different perspective to the topic in a very creative manner. SciKnowTech celebrated the year-end with “Experts’ Week”, where 2 sessions (for Grade 6,7 and 8) were taken by Dr. Sharma from Mumbai, who took them through a joy ride of “Electrical & Electronics” with so many live experiments and demonstration coupled with theoretical conceptual learning.

Kite and Parachute-making activities, coupled with Science of force, balance and thrust to fulfill kids’ curiosity of magical science with loads of fun in line with the philosophy of “Experiential Learning”.
