So enriched learning & invaluable experience for last few days. Blessed to be one of the 23 participants at “Advanced Entrepreneurship Programme” by WEE Foundation, IIT Delhi, Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer – FITT, IIT Delhi & @Israel Embassy, which culminated at IIT, Delhi with 3-day rigorous training & award ceremony
Day 1 – Visiting Google was a great experience. Thank you Sarandeep Singh and Apurva Chamaria – Head, Venture Capital @ Google India for this opportunity & making us part of inauguration of Research & Innovation Park. Listening to @Neha Kant @ Clovia on apt questions by Anisha Singh @SheCapital for Fire side Chat was indeed like Fire!
Day 2 – Our dear Mentor Sarandeep Singh (without whom, entire programme wasn’t possible) introduced us to IMD – Directors Leading Change – Nava Swersky Sofer ( head Rimon music school רימון בי”ס למוזיקה ), who flew all the way from Israel & actually didn’t take a break till we had our pitches right…..her wide experience resulting into intense learning for us under her guidance.
Day 3 – The Women’s Entrepreneurship Conclave and Awards night was graced by stalwarts of innovation & start-up ecosystem – His Excellency. Ambassador for Israel – Naor Gilon, Head of Partnership Solutions, Startups & Vandana Chamaria, Director Of IIT – Prof. V.Ramgopal Rao, Dr. Anil Wali FITT IIT Delhi, Orly Goldschmidt. Head of public diplomacy of Israel , Doron, Mr. Harkesh Kumar Mittal, Dr. Anita Gupta (DST), representatives from USA and Netherlands Embassy to India & various other reputed signatories.
Award ceremony started by woman entrepreneur herself @Tripti Singhal @ Womennovator – Virtual Incubator for Women, followed by Fashion show where show stopper being Deepa Malik & concluded with addresses by the dignitaries.
This post would be incomplete without mentioning fun & learning we had with passionate & extremely talented fellow participants from all over India. Special thanks to Namita Shah for always being there to help as well as insightful inputs from Shabia Ravi Walia, Bhavini N Parikh, Vrunda Nimje, @Sonal, @Ritu mishra – a classic example that “it is the team who wins & not an individual”. Thanking Suphiya Khan for being my room partner n also for late night conversations
